Julie says .... I have been a childminder since 2002. I am a member of the NCMA and have an NVQ Level 3 Nursery Nurse Certificate, First Aid, Food Hygiene, Data Protection Act 1998 and a Safe Guarding Children. I attend regular courses when available to refresh my knowledge. I provide a safe and happy environment in which children have the opportunity to learn and develop through play.
Development folders of your child are available at all times for you to view which will include observations, photographs, write ups and achievements and activities the children have carried out. The folder will be handed over to you when the child leaves the setting for you to treasure. All the above is the frame work of the EYFS which MUST be carried out by all childcare providers on children aged from birth to 5 years.
